  I am dedicated and driven to providing exceptional service for your Equine Partner and you should expect nothing less of your Farrier. I am well experienced in providing your Sport Horse with needed relief and balance now and when it matters most. I tailor my services to your Horse's discipline and needs. I proudly offer handmade shoeing and custom made modifications that are hand forged and fabricated on site.

  I take a proactive approach to maintaining your Horse's soundness. This means anticipating and staying ahead of any deviation is vital. A thorough evaluation of gait, stance, heel and toe analysis, conformation, angles, and HPA is key to my service. It is important to assess the heels, toe length, and sole; and to note angles and HPA (Hoof Pastern Axis) so we can keep a Horse going in the best package possible. I also like to watch you or your rider trot and ride your Horse so I can evaluate fluidity of movement, ease of turning, and see the hooves loading and landing during work. This is part of my intake for consultations too.

  Therapeutic and lameness cases are my passion. Please look through my Gallery photos to see some of my case studies. At your request, I will consult with your Veterinarian and Trainer to team up and work towards an effective recovery. I work efficiently and calmly to provide a gentle, low-stress atmosphere. For older horses or those recovering from injury, I use a stand to rest the hoof in a comfortable pose, eliminating stress on the joints. I truly enjoy making horses feel comfortable and confident.

  Each year, I attend many continuing education clinics and hoofcare symposiums throughout the US to offer better developments in treatment and preventative care. I subscribe to trade and veterinary journals and I participate in online forums such as www.horseshoes.com This field is evolving constantly and I am committed to being on the forefront. It is my goal to provide you with service and results second to none. Performance and Sport Horses

I service those who wish to provide their Sport Horses with a competitive edge. Performance training and events place a tremendous strain on the Horse's skeletal structure and musculature. Perfect hoof balance is fundamental in your horse's ability to remain sound and competitive. My work can help strengthen the integrity of your Horse's hooves and limbs, thus optimizing your Horse's level of performance. Working closely with your Trainer and Vet, I employ modifications specific to your Horse's discipline and needs. I specialize in Farrier services for Dressage, and Hunter/Jumper horses, so handmade modifications take center stage in my business. My shoes are tailored to your Horse's conformation & needs. I will customize your horse's package to offer superior protection and traction. I can customize shoes with rolled toes, rocker toes, extended heels, trailers, extensions, pads, wedges, bar shoes and more. Steel, Aluminum, Titanium, and Synthetics are all part of my stock. I service many Breeds, but I mostly work on Warmbloods. In addition to Hunter, Jumper, Dressage, & 3-Day Event Horses, I have also worked extensively with Gaited Horses, Polo, Reining/Cutting, and Roping Horses. Pleasure Horses and Barefoot Trims

Some of my clients have pleasure horses for Trail Riding or Farming. These guys are often subjected to less stressful demands. Some may remain sound while Barefoot or in wearing Hoof Boots, while others may benefit greatly from being shod. I evaluate each Equine's needs individually and work with their owner to implement an optimal hoof maintenance program. This includes Correct Barefoot Trimming or more Basic Horseshoeing packages. I work with Pleasure Horses to provide them with the best hoof care possible. My level of Hoof Care does not impose a process or waiting period as I aim to provide instant relief and results. Many Horses do not need shoes, but not every Horse can remain sound while Barefoot. This is my stance on Barefoot Trimming. Corrective and Therapeutic Horseshoeing

I use Traditional Techniques with Modern advancements for Corrective and Therapeutic Cases. I have provided successful therapeutic packages for Emergency Laminitis, Founder, Navicular Syndrome or Caudal Heel Pain, and extreme cases of White Line Disease with resection. I have also made effective shoeing packages for Horses suffering from Arthritis, Ring Bone, Side Bone, Pedal Osteitis, Shiver's, ligament damage, fractures of the lower limb, and shoulder pain. I have helped to restore balance to those with conformation faults like Toed in, Toed out, Calf or Buck Kneed, Club Foot, and Sheared or Contracted Heels. I have also provided compensatory relief for Gait Interference issues including Stumbling, Knee Hitting, Elbow Hitting, & Forging. It's not magic, it's forgework!  A skilled Farrier is a bit of an artist!

Handmade modifications and custom made shoes are an important part of my service! I can fabricate a variety of specialty Shoe/Pad configurations (Heart-Bar, Egg-Bar, Straight-Bar, Z-Bar) to provide increased Heel, Frog, and Sole support when needed. I use cutting edge products from Vettec, Equilox, Equicast, 3M, & EDSS in the treatment of many of these cases. I also work with synthetic shoes by Epona, EasyWalker, and SoundHorse (Sigafoos Glue-on). These specialty shoes provide shock absorption and traction for Horses with therapeutic needs. Your horse's health and well being is my number one priority. I will be glad to view your Horse's X-rays, MRI disc, Venograms, or Thermal Imaging scans from your Veterinarian. Consulting with your Veterinarian and/or Trainer is preferred.
